New Layout
Why yes, the previous layout was only released 6 months or so ago xD The last few years, the layouts I've had have been *okay* but I haven't found them as much fun as my layout from 2012. So I decided to bring back some of that style into it, but still make sure it's responsive and can be viewed on mobile etc.
I still have lots of things I want to tidy up, or add, but the bulk of things have been moved across. The underlying system is still the same as the last one, just the actual design and output has changed ^_^ The main thig is that I've had SO much fun actually building this one and I'm genuinely excited to make more things for it.
So I don't forget:
- Pixel my ducks and place them throughout the site
- Some kind of pixel mini games? Feeding pets, endless runner, the old catching stars game from forever ago!
- Achievements!
- Add weathering to the cogs
- Another random idea generator, but with more specific ideas
- Add more makers, such as an old potion one that I had
- A pixel town to explore
- Different journal layouts options
- Repixel my old 2005 pixel art layout and use that in the background
- Make a cuter to-do list
- Add icons for the pixel layout buttons
- Split the gallery page into collections for things like past Inktober entries
- Sort through all my old Instagram posts and move them here
- More links!
- Add old layout screenshots (that I can find) to the about page
- Add an adoptables section
- Add 200% images to some pixel art gallery items and allow switching between
After my last journal celebrating that I had been consistently making videos, I stopped because I had focused on this new layout <w< I'll be heading back to work in a few weeks too, which is good! They've been really amazing and supportive while I was unwell and I have finally got back to normal ^^ But that will likely mean less updates while I get settled back in.
